A mini digger and a dumper are hired in two ways. One of the team drives, or the machines come on their own if you already have someone who can run them. The drivers are used to planted gardens and tight side gates, not only open ground.
The hire is usually the messy middle of a landscaping job, not a machine sitting idle for a week.
What the machines are booked for
Tell us the access, the ground and where the spoil can go. That decides the machine more than the size of the hole.
- Excavation for ponds and lakes
- Demolition and breaking out an old surface
- Earth removal and disposal of waste
- Hire with a driver, or machine only
A long sloping drive, like the Kharne entrance in Radlett, is the sort of job where a machine earns its place: the old surface comes out, levels are cut, and the spoil leaves before the new paving starts. A small alley does not need one.
Email info@hertslandscapes.co.uk or call with the width of the gate and whether the dumper can turn. Jake will say if the machines suit the plot before anything is booked.
