Potters Bar

Patio and garden, Potters Bar

A shaded Potters Bar garden opened with a feature patio, paths, trimmed conifers and new fence panels.

Before and after of a Potters Bar garden given a new patio, paths and a more open boundary.
Before and after. Photographs from the original Hertfordshire Garden Landscapes portfolio.

Overgrown conifers had taken the light, and the existing patio no longer earned the space. Mr Arlington asked for the garden to be low maintenance.

The design centres on a feature patio, with paths leading to and from it. The conifers were cut back and new fence panels went on the boundary.

The finished garden is lighter and simpler, and open enough to sit in.

Service: Low maintenance garden design. Town: Potters Bar.
